In this activity, students will collect samples of microorganisms from different surfaces in the classroom. They will observe how the different colonies grow and then make conclusions about the cleanliness of different surfaces in the classroom.

Objective
Students will gain an understanding of how to collect, incubate, and analyze samples of microorganisms from different surfaces. They will also gain an understanding of which surfaces harbor the most microorganisms in their classroom.
